Often, those who have more experience will see more money in relation to the amount of salary that they get. In most cases, when a pharmacy tech starts off, they tend to start at a much lower end of the scale.
Generally the range that those starting off receive are between $25,000 and $35,000. The pharmacist plays a big role in relation to how big or small their check is. After ten years of experience, most techs tend to make around $40,000 a year. However, some of those that are just starting off may make as low as $19,000 a year.
As mentioned before, much of the money that they make relates to the industry that they are in as well as the amount of experience. The median salary for a Pharmacy technician is $24,954. Another thing that influences the amount of money they make relates to the location they live as well.
Generally, those who have more experience have more certifications as well. This however is not something that is always true though. So this means that the average salary for a pharmacy technician with many years of experience and hardly no certifications could make just as much as someone who has many certifications.
